My wife and I recently stayed at the Renaissance Aruba Beach Resort for our honeymoon and were very happy with our decision to stay there. On top of that, the staff were all courteous and responsive to all of our questions / concerns. They never made us feel uncomfortable. The cleaning staff are friendly and always do a great job. Our bed was very comfortable.
Oranjestad, Aruba Hotels and Resorts
The pool and bar are great places to hang out, but the greatest asset the hotel offers is Renaissance Island. The beach was amazing. Fairly white sand and coral near the broken wall which is great for snorkeling. We saw lots of incredible wildlife, both in the water and on land. Noteworthy are the pink flamingos, iguanas, and parrots.
Also, the Aruba people are all very polite. I would recommend hiring a car and exploring all the island has to offer. Alto Vista Church is one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited.
We were in Aruba for a week and tried a number of restaurants, but our favorite was Rumba Bar and Grille. Don’t let that name fool you. This is not your typical bar and grille menu. Food, drink and service was excellent. The only restaurant we visited more than once. Located just behind the Renaissance Marina tower, very easy to walk to. They make great Caipirinha, a very tasty Brazilian drink.
Aruba All Inclusive Honeymoon
One of the cheapest places with the best food is Iguana Joes, which is one block from the hotel. They do not assess service charges like most restaurants in Aruba. The staff are friendly and the drinks are good and reasonably priced. They make a good mixed drink. Overall it is the best dining value on the island. Also, they have $ 2 soft drinks with free refills. Most of the other places downtown all charge you for another drink if you want a refill (which is really annoying). This is important after you have been swimming in salt water all day in 90 degree weather.
